Concealed Carry Firearm Fundamentals provides a detailed learning process to develop the foundation (fundamentals) of shooting a handgun. Successful completion of this course meets the training requirement per Florida Statute 790 for the Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License. No prior training is required. Class size is limited to ensure proper instruction to each student. The course length is about 3 hours. At a minimum the course content consists of: Safe Gun Handling Handgun Shooting Fundamentals Precision/Accuracy Defense Balance of Speed and Accuracy Dry Fire Drills Live Fire Drills and Qualification If you do not have a firearm, we can provide one for use in the class but you must add on this option during check out. If you do not select this option, you must provide a handgun and a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition (150 recommended) in the same caliber as your firearm. Ammunition must be factory new. No reloaded ammunition will be allowed, and the firearm must be in proper working order and mechanically safe. Fee includes range fee, and targets. Class will be held at AAA Gun and Ammo "The Range", 1105 Goldfinch Dr, Plant City, FL 33563 All attendees must be legal to possess a firearm under all Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations to register for this class. By registering you or others for this class, you are certifying that you/they are a United States citizen, at least 18 years of age and are able to possess a firearm under all Federal, State, and local laws. FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age to take this course. You must be a citizen of the United States, ID is required. Although you can take this course at 18 years of age.  To apply for a Florida Concealed Carry Weapon or Firearm License you must be 21 years of age or older By registering for this class, you are certifying that you are able to possess a firearm under all Federal, State, and local laws. Can we just show up on the day of the class without registering? No, you must register a minimum of two days prior to the class date. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Factory new ammunition only no reloads* in the same caliber as your handgun. *Reloads are not allowed, however, reputable firearm manufactures who produce remanufactured ammunition such as Freedom Munitions will be acceptable.  If you are unsure contact us prior to the class date you will be attending.
